Wildlife, Conservation & Charity Collaborations
Wildlife, Conservation & Why This Matters to Me
Animals have always been one of the biggest parts of my life — not just as artistic inspiration, but as living beings that genuinely deserve care, respect and protection.
Long before Square Safari existed, I was already spending much of my time volunteering with wildlife organisations and learning everything I could about animal care, conservation and rehabilitation. Over the years, I've volunteered with several wildlife rescue and conservation groups throughout Western Australia, working hands-on with a wide variety of native animals and learning more about the realities of wildlife care behind the scenes.
I completed my Certificate III in Wildlife & Exhibited Animal Care through the Taronga Training Institute, where I gained practical experience working hands-on with animals at Perth Zoo across several different departments, including Australian wildlife, wetlands and primates.
I continue to volunteer regularly with WA Wildlife, assisting with the care and rehabilitation of native wildlife. My volunteer work has involved animal handling and restraint, feed preparation, enclosure cleaning and maintenance, enrichment, rehabilitation support and general animal husbandry tasks.
For me, wildlife conservation has never been something distant or abstract. It's something very real, very personal, and something I want to dedicate a large part of my life toward helping in any way I can.
That's honestly one of the biggest reasons Square Safari was created.
I wanted to combine my love of animals with my passion for digital artwork and design in a way that could hopefully contribute something positive back into wildlife care and conservation industries. Whether that means helping raise awareness, contributing to fundraising efforts, collaborating with wildlife organisations, or simply helping more people connect emotionally with animals and nature — that is the dream.
Every Square Safari design is created entirely by hand in my own low-poly, blocky art style. No AI. No shortcuts. Just genuine artwork created by somebody who genuinely loves the creatures being represented.
And now, one of the most exciting parts of this journey is beginning.
Charity Collaborations & Sponsorships
Square Safari partners with not-for-profit organisations, selling our merchandise in their gift stores, online stores and market stalls — including our own — in order to dedicate a percentage of earnings to help fund their important work.
We believe that great art and great causes belong together.
Upcoming Collaboration with WA Wildlife
I'm incredibly excited to share that Square Safari is currently working toward an official collaboration with WA Wildlife here in Western Australia.
While details are still being finalised, the goal is to create a range of Square Safari products — including apparel and accessories for both kids and adults — that can help support wildlife rehabilitation and care through WA Wildlife's gift shop and future collaborative projects.
To have the opportunity to work alongside an organisation I already volunteer with honestly means so much to me. WA Wildlife does incredible work caring for injured, orphaned and displaced native animals, and I'm beyond grateful and excited to potentially contribute in a creative way through Square Safari.
There are lots of exciting ideas currently being discussed, and I genuinely cannot wait to share more as things progress.
So for now… watch this space. 🐾
My hope for the future is to continue building relationships with wildlife rescue, rehabilitation and conservation organisations across Australia and beyond — helping however I can through artwork, merchandise, fundraising collaborations and awareness projects.
Because at the end of the day, Square Safari has never just been about making clothing.
It's about celebrating wildlife, appreciating the natural world, and hopefully giving something meaningful back to the animals that inspired all of this in the first place.

Our Stance on AI
We are extremely against the use of AI in making our designs.
AI is a lacklustre shortcut that undermines the hard work and hours of effort that authentic artists have spent years of their lives perfecting. It is not art. It is not craft. And it has no place in Square Safari.
Each Square Safari design is hand-modelled and designed in a low-poly three-dimensional modelling program and rendered in a cinematic three-dimensional rendering program. No generative AI is ever utilised — not in the design process, not in the rendering, not anywhere.
What you see on every Square Safari product is the result of genuine human creativity, genuine passion, and genuine love for the animals being represented.
That will never change.
